📜CALL FOR PROPOSALS 📜
To reduce death and diseases from tobacco products, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) and Pusat Ekonomi dan Bisnis Syariah Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Indonesia (PEBS FEB UI)’s Indonesian Tobacco Control Research Network program’s call for proposals to fund policy relevant tobacco control research grants is now open.
We invite researchers to submit proposals related to current tobacco control policy issues in Indonesia that aligns with WHO’s MPOWER* tobacco control policy package. This program is intended to generate evidence to support effective tobacco control policy interventions.
Please note, proposals that address “O” of MPOWER are not a current priority for this initiative and will not be considered. Proposals that address population level tobacco control issues are solicited rather than those that focus on special or sub-populations. Proposals that include secondary data analysis are also welcome. Proposals must mention how their study findings can address specific policy level gaps or strengthen existing policies.
